Risk is more complex, more interconnected and harder to detect — and there’s less room for error. The National Investigations Symposium returns in 2027, bringing together the people who uncover misconduct, manage risk and protect integrity across the public sector to share what actually works.
Share what works. Shape the conversation.
We want you to help shape the National Investigations Symposium 2027 program. We’re looking for practitioners with real experience in investigations, complaint handling, system reform, or emerging risks who can share practical insights with a room of peers.
You don’t need a polished conference paper. We’re interested in the idea. Visit the 15th NIS website to express your interest before 24 August 2026. Successful speakers and workshop leaders will receive complimentary registration for the symposium and social events.
The 15th NIS is proudly organised and hosted by the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption, the NSW Ombudsman and IPAA NSW.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and pay our respects to all Elders past and present, and to the children of today who are the Elders of the future.
